Gloretta Yancey McNeil is an ordained evangelist of the Gospel anointed to preach, teach and sing the good news of Jesus Christ. She is known for her energetic style of singing and delivering the Word of God. Evangelist McNeil is passionate about evangelizing the gospel through the ability God has given her.  As a psalmist, she exhibits the joy in praise and worship that encourages other to follow and experience God’s glory through his healing and deliverance.  She is the founder of Hope of Glory Ministries, which is dedicated to revealing the glorious riches of “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Col. 1:27, 28)  Her life has touched many as she leads praise and worship and imparts the word of hope at women’s conferences, singles’ conferences, music workshops and concerts.   She has conducted numerous musical workshops with powerful teachings on “Reviving God’s Purpose in Praise and Worship” that encourages music ministries to go to the next level.

A native of Oxford, North Carolina, Evangelist McNeil is the seventh of 11 children born to Melcina Yancey and the late Willie Graham Yancey.  She grew up surrounded by gospel music and gifted siblings who inspired her to dedicate her gifts to spreading the Gospel. At the age of six, she sang her first solo and later became the lead vocalist of her family group, The Yancey Glorietts.  In 2002, Evangelist McNeil released her first CD entitled, Thou Art Worthy.  As God began to launch her ministry, she has appeared as guest psalmist on several local broadcasts including, Spiritual Awakening; My Desire and Ray’s Gospel Hour.

Evangelist McNeil received her ministry license in 1998 and was recently ordained as an evangelist under the leadership of Pastors J. Phillip & Teresa Betts of Cornerstone Christian Community Church, Oxford, NC.  Servicing under this ministry, she is an associate evangelist and overseer of the music ministry.  Over the years she has served in various capacities within the church including administrative assistant, choir director, deaconess and associate minister. 

A mother of three and grandmother of two, she resides in Durham, North Carolina.  Evangelist McNeil is presently enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree program at Northeastern Regional Bible College in Oxford.  As she endeavors to make her calling and election sure, she is fully persuaded that nothing shall be able to separate her from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom. 8:38-39)  Evangelist McNeil’s heart is to know Christ, and to bring others into the saving knowledge of the hope of glory.
