Anointed minister, psalmist, and worship leader, Gloretta was called into the ministry May, 1998. She serves as an associate minister and minister of music at Cornerstone Christian Community Church under Pastor J. Phillip and Co-Pastor Teresa Betts in Oxford, NC. She is the founder of Hope of Glory Ministries. Gloretta started singing at the age of six and later became the lead vocalist for her family group, The Yancey Glorietts. At the age of 12, she recorded her first record entitled, “Trust in Him,” with the Yancey Glorietts in New York City. In September 2002, Gloretta released her first CD entitled, Thou Art Worthy. Subsequently, she has appeared on several local television broadcasts: The Yancey Family Christmas Special on Spiritual Awakening WRAL TV5; local cable talk show, My Desire and Ray’s Gospel Hour.
With 15 years of working with choirs, Gloretta has a passion for praise and worship and has facilitated numerous workshops throughout the region. These workshops have proven to encourage and empower praise and worship teams to create the atmosphere for the presence of God to dwell. From 1992 to 1994, Gloretta help form a community workshop choir that consisted of 80 voices of local church choir members, and musicians that performed annual concert in support of foreign mission.
